Dear Members:

Happy 4th of July to all! Good memories abound with parades, barbeques, homemade ice cream and fireworks. Enjoy the day and enjoy the blessings we have in this wonderful country.

The first board meeting went well and board members are at work on activities for the coming year. A financial audit has been completed and the books are in good order--the club is financially strong.

Please keep your e-mail addresses current with Diana Golbaf, as we will sometimes use e-mail as a method to contact you on shorter notice events. Greta Mortimer, who has agreed to be our telephone caller, will contact those without e-mail.

Linda Roemer is now tracking our advertisements in the directory and newletters, so if you know anyone who is interested in placing an ad, contact her.

As usual, this time of year brings vacations, travel and slower activity for the club, so enjoy the summer!
